Oh vinyl... it's becoming the best thing invented. At first, I found it intimidating and limited use. But now...now...I see how functional it can be. It's almost addicting. I decided to take a stab at creating a few things for the house. We have a old collection of glass cabinets from my husband's great grandmother's house. For some reason tonight, it donned on me to turn it sideways...how bout in the kitchen...maybe over the laundry room door...oh and it needs vinyl lettering! It was an odd thought process. Turned out fairly decent. The transfer tape was a little over eager but that's just me being over critical and OCD. The second project I dedicated to my two hungry pups. Their treats always stayed in a measly small canister. After shopping at World Market today, I decided they were worth an upgrade. They don't seem to mind.
I encourage you to try vinyl if you haven't. It's easier than expected and so versatile. I've gone from a small white paw print window decal on my Highlander to covering the house.

"Operation Write Home"

A similiar card that someone else made that I just loved (I'll post their name when I find it again) |

According to my husband and sister, my "gassy" bird and my swinging bird from Myscrapchick.com |
This started with my over eagerness to start creating Christmas cards with my carts and SVGs I've collected over the months. Thanks to another blog, my attention was redirected to a better cause, Operation Write Home. Blank cards are sent over seas so the soldiers can send Christmas cards home to their families. No thanks to a stomach bug, I was only able to create a few but a few that will find a good home!

Mum-a-thon
One mum turned to two, two to four and then four to seven mums and two garters. If the pictures only justified how pretty (and sparkly) they are in person! Happy Jersey Village homecoming! I'll have to get one this weekend of the girls standing outside with them. Then you'll really see the glitter and the crystals.
(sorry I took the garter pic at a funny angle)

Flowers for Maria
I took this idea from another SCAL user, http://ifscrapscouldtalk.blogspot.com/, but I thought it was just the cutest idea. Let me warn you, if you do not make it in an organized fashion, it will turn into a very time consuming project. So, pretty much don't wait till 8:30 at night to start it like me :)
I hope it makes a nice addition to Maria's scrap room!

And then, Maria's name plate of "Happy Trees" from myscrapchick.com. I hope her new place let's her post it ;)
Pick Me!
One of the many onesies I've made for a friend but so far my favorite. Although, I already have plans to re-do this design and make it bolder. But for the first attempt, it's still cute!
